Main Purpose of the Job
Reporting to the Head of Sales Steering, this role will be working closely across the UK Network and National Accounts.

In supporting the Head of Sales Steering, this individual will be responsible for the performance of New truck sales and developing both Sales and Marketing measures, providing visibility and reporting to the business, ensuring the company achieves both its budgets and targets.

Main Duties
Develop and improve market understanding among the Networks (NNC’s) and National Accounts, using historic market and activity data, coverage and conversion data, and historic lost order information.

Proactively report, analyze the sales activity of new trucks by understanding and optimising the sales funnel from market coverage to lost order analysis, delivering a recommendation to the business.

Develop and deliver BITA data-based market mapping and ensuring each NNC develops a local coverage action plan.

Manage and track the sales capacity of each NNC to optimize Linde sales capacity in line with market growth and development.

Work with the NNC Sales Directors and Field Sales Managers at regular reviews and where appropriate join NNC team meetings, assist where necessary with the use of market and activity data to drive increased efficiencies.

Aid the Head of Sales Steering, NNC Sales Directors and Field Sales Manager by preparing CRM Fleet data by customer and renewal & replacement cycle => Purchase Predictor / Prospect Generation.

Proactively manage Sales Campaigns for New Trucks sales from creation to post evaluation.

Ensure the business has the necessary, up to date tools, reports and KPI’s in place to drive sales and achieve targets.

Be the conduit between Head Office and the NNC’s, providing support, feedback and input on general business topics, improvements and projects.

Drive collaboration and performance within New, Used and STR sales channels to maximize Revenue, EBIT, Market Share and price assertion against company targets.

Qualifications and Experience
Operational / management experience in a commercially competitive environment.
Solid experience in delivering price assertion activities.
Ability to manage data sets and build reports, using Excel (VLOOKUP’s, Pivot Tables, etc)
Exceptional attention to detail, with an analytical mind and commercial output.
Ability to turn data to insights, insights to action, action to fruition.
Proficient in all Microsoft packages.

Analyses, understands, and anticipates customer needs (internal and external) and market trends and thus is able to implement competitive and state-of-the-art customer satisfaction led business actions.

Constantly monitors indicators to ensure a sustainable achievement of targets or initiates countermeasures if necessary.

Continuously steers and supports others where necessary and overcomes obstacles in challenging situations.
