My client a well-known Truck Manufacturer are looking for a Workshop Technician or similar who has HGV vehicle diagnostic experience to come in and respond to technical inquiries escalated by Dealers and Technician.
Duties will include but not limited to:
Dealing with inquiries via computer-based systems or similar – Providing answers to the issues via, Email, personal contact or similar.
Supporting the markets through advanced analysis and diagnostics to determine root causes and coaching dealers to become more and mire autonomous in diagnosis.
Coordinating the activities with the other members of the Technical Support team and managing the scheduling of field visits.
Ensure that technical information flows freely between the Technical Support team and the other Business Brands building a base for future knowledge via troubleshooting and written technical articles.
Supporting Product Quality in addressing configured issues, and follow up of submitted issues with relevant Central Departments (Quality, Product Support, Product Validation).
Ensuring that all-important technical issues experienced in the market are recognised by the Global Quality Product Lines, priority problems are assigned and that clear feedback is available to the Technical Support team, Brands and Dealers.
Escalate to Coordinator, Second Level or even appropriate PLL / European Technical Support Management where priority and speed of response are not appropriate or in line with brand expectations.
Providing technical support to the Service Zone Managers / Key Accounts where needed.
