My client a commercial dealership, is currently looking to appoint a professional Service Advisor to maximise service sales and profitability within the busy Service Department.
Working closely with workshop personnel including the Service Manager, the Workshop Controller and the Technicians, you will effectively book in vehicles for repairs; initiate service documentation, job card production and follow-up systems; requirements and dealership policy; and ensure all work has been carried out as detailed and charged for.
You will advise customers of the precise and estimated costs of vehicle repairs; the work to be undertaken; and the predicted completion times and collection arrangements for the customers’ vehicles, keeping customers fully informed of the progress of their vehicle.
You will demonstrate consistently high levels of professionalism in person and over the telephone ensuring the delivery of high standards of customer service whilst gaining repeat business.
With strong communication and influencing skills, you will be able to sell additional products, services, and repair work ensuring proper qualification and total understanding of customer needs and requirements.
It is essential that you are numerate and literate with an excellent telephone manner; strong and efficient PC and administration skills; knowledge of workshop loading systems; and the ability to sell incremental products and assess further sales opportunities.
